JOHN KERRY: ART LOVER

It turns out John Kerry is your all around metrosexual guy. Not only does he enjoy bicycling, deer hunting and tossing a baseball like a girl, he's also a lover of high culture. Here he is defending the "artists" like Whoopi Goldberg who recently spoke from their hearts and souls about President Bush .
"..When I talked about the heart and soul, I'm talking about the artistic expression. I'm talking about sort of the, I mean, I believe in the arts. I think that there's a great expression in it, and there's always this struggle. You know, does life imitate art or art imitate life? Which comes first? It's a little of both...

John Kerry has put himself in an unenviable position. Rather than outright supporting what Goldberg and her ilk are saying (which would alienate the more conservative portion of his constituency) or condemning it (which would anger and alienate the rest of his constituency), Kerry is trying to have it both ways by sidestepping the substance of the issue and sort of hoping that everyone will forget about it. If that isn't a window into the way he would, as president, most likely handle any given crisis that came his way, I don't know what is.

I agree with the above.

Kerry has one attribute: an ambition to be great and famous and to be in the headlines. He does not strike me as a man who really cares about anything except getting elected (by a very liberal electorate in Massachusetts).

After all his pastimes and money have always rolled in easily.

His chief qualification is his wealth but like Gore I believe he hasn't the burning ambition and drive to really galvanize voters for the simple reason he comes across as a man who doesn't believe in anything except an easy life provided by someone else's money.

Politics is a nice hobby for this a Boston Blue Blood and when this is all over he can go back to having the most liberal voting record so that liberals in Boston and New York can feel at home in Paris.

Then Hillary (R.C.) can zoom to her best chance for the presidency in 2008 over the wreckage of the 2004 Kerry debacle.

It should be obvious to anyone that the Clintons, in their heart of hearts WANT Kerry to lose.

Perhaps then Kerry and the love of his life can go on a long vacation in Switzerland (where he can party with Marc Rich) or even make a sentimental journey to South Africa with or without his "family" SUV.

Bush fatigue? I have had Kerry fatigue for a long, long time.

Is metrosexual supposed to be a compliment?

Posted by: rabidfox at July 28, 2004 09:39 PM

I can't tell if Stephen even knows what it means, but he clearly wants to use it as a crowbar of some type. So what if he doesn't like the way Kerry throws a baseball? I'd prefer a president who doesn't get bowled over by Tenet's "it's a slam dunk" when he had previously been skeptical about the WMD case. I want a President who will know to ask the tough cases. This is clearly an example where Bush's inexperience put him at a disadvantage. Kerry, however, with his years in the Senate, and Edwards, with his experience on the Senate Intelligence Committee, will be in a better position to evaluate what they hear, and less likely to lead us into an unnecessary war.

Pointing out that Kerry loves the arts is another exmaple of how some conservatives would prefer to remain enmired in anti-intellectualism (another form of divisiveness).

Nice site Ever wonder how cigarettes are made? These are then cut to proper length for cigarettes. Filter-tipped brands have a double-length filter inserted between every two cigarettes; filters are sealed to the rods and then cut in half to produce two cigarettes, each one having a filter on one end.

A MATTER OF HONOR

John F. Kerry, on April 23, 1971, lost his honor, when he threw his medals at the -- White House -- America’s House.

After only 4 months “in- country”, and after obtaining a few superficial band-aid wounds, John Kerry asked to be sent home from Vietnam with his metals in hand, and “whatever” in his “blood-work.” It should be of no surprise, to anyone, that Kerry won't release his complete medical records.

Kerry realized that his “superficial” wounds were his “fast track” home. He would rather be safely home, protesting the war, with the likes of -- Hanoi -- Jane Fonda, the “evil weed” users, and the “acid heads”, who burned the American Flag, than be in harms way, anymore…The “flag”, which waved so proudly, on Kerry’s "swift-boat", was in essence, burned in effigy, by the War Protesters, with Kerry’s blessings.

Somewhere, down deep, in Kerry’s “inner core”, his “band-aid” wounds, and his medals, didn’t mean a thing to him; --Until now -- Now, that he wants to be President, he names them, and claims them; …What a “flip-flopper.”

John Kerry should never become President of the United States of America. How can anyone trust him to stay the course in anything?

Don’t let him “burn” America again.
