Yes, Sir, we are not old Europe but young America yet. "By opressions woes and pains, by our sons in servile chains, we will drain our dearest veins...but they shall be free...
Lay the proud usurpers low,
tyrants fall with every foe,
Liberty's in every blow,
let us do or dee...."
BIN LADEN...EVIL DOERS OF FALLUJA who shame Islam and shame God and serve a false ido a murder cultl called ISLAMOFACISM...the YANKS ARE COMING and they will smoke you out....capture you, destroy your organizations or send you to your maker.
By the way Theo Van Gogh was murdered the other day by an Islamic fanatic...because Mr. Van Gogh dared make a film critical (truthful? ) about the evil of the abuse of women in Islam. He was 47.
Thank God, the God of Abraham, not the false God of the Murdercultists, that a God-fearing man is leading the coaltion of the winning. Mr. Bush will lead us to victory and perhaps, with God's help bring peace and democracy and enlightentment to a benighted region. God Bless America, the American people and Mr Bush.
Marines....stand to....fix bayonets....you know what to do.....
Think too that Britain is not France either nor Germany and think on the four Black Watch soldiers killed holding the flank for the Army and Marines and coaltion soldiers rooting out the Terrorists in Fallujah. Suicide bomber in one case at a checkpoint -a Iraqui translator was killed too- and then a rocket attack from twenty miles away. They have enduring numerous rocket attacks already. The pipes are playing SANDS OF KUWAIT and the WATERS of KYLESCUE and THEID MI DHAICHAICH (I will return to Kintail; the Seaforth Lullaby) and LORD LOVAT's LAMENT.
God bless these gallant British troops. Our prayers and thoughts are with them tonight and tomorrow and for always. To the regiments!
Think now on the War Memorial, Princess Street Gardens, Edinburgh, There is the figure of a kilted Highland soldier on the plinth looking across to Auld Reekie (Edinburgh Castle) which dominates the scene. Behind him is the emotive bronze frieze depicting the men of Alba (Scotland) answering the Call to Arms. So emotive it is that “a wee sigh stirs the bosom and a wee tear blin’s the ee, hoot mon, it gars ye tae greet (if you don’t shed a tear at such a sight you are no Highlander as Auld Pop would say). The carved inscriptions is not English-only but in all three of Scotland’s living languages. Here it is, it is not well known but it is a good thing to know I think.
