ISLAMIC SCHOLARSHIP SUFFERS A SETBACK
According to the noted Islamic scholar Abu Musab al Zarqawi, Muslim clerics at Fallujah didn't adequately pursue their scholarly tasks. Perhaps they won't get tenure when the school year ends. John Burns reports on the latest videotape from Iraq:
"...Addressing the Muslim "ulema," an Arabic term for Islamic clerics and scholars, the [Zarqawi] tape drew a grim picture of the consequences of what it described as their failure to step in to help the Falluja rebels against the Americans.
"...You made peace with the tyranny and handed over the country and its people to the Jews and Crusaders, by resorting to silence on their crimes and preventing our youth from heading to the battlefields in order to defend our religion..."
These religious scholars need not fear, however. Their 'scholarship' will undoubtedly be welcome at Columbia, and by fellow seekers after truth in other Middle East studies departments of elite American universities. Just one small request: leave the AK-47's and rocket launchers in the mosques and don't bring them to the next faculty meeting.

No kidding! Is it me, or are people in this country just NOT GETTING IT?!
Here's the deal (and I know you know this Stephen, but maybe other readers do not): The so-called "Islamic Fundamentalists" want to bring back the Caliphate, end of story. For them, religion is politics, politics IS religion--no separation of church and state, period. They use theology (such as they've "construed" it) as a tool for recruitment only. Rather than come right out and say that theirs is nothing more than a blatant and brutal grab for world domination of the Hitlerian variety, they claim to represent the downtrodden, to be doing "Allah's will." Plays better with the Hollywood set and the academics at Columbia and Berkley.
Anything these monsters claim to care about is, at best, secondary to their desire to control the Middle East territorially and the world economically. They believe that by controlling the oil our society needs to survive, they control us and ultimately, that's what they want to do--control us first economically (the way the Saudis have been trying to do for decades), then take over demographically, et voila! Scary ass-backwards Muslim Freaktopia.
Thankfully, I won't live to see it (that is if we're dumb enough to continue referring to Islam as a "religion of peace."

I read this article this morning over breakfast. The hatred of this article, which compared Jews to parasitic bugs could have been written by Himmler or Hitler himself. The invincible ignorance of that article was self-evident. He was not wrong about one thing. There is much shameful decadence in the West. If the West falls it will be from within not from without and if Islam triumphs it will be because of Margaret Sanger and her ilk who have very successfully promoted a cult of childlessness while Islam outbreeds Old Europe 6-1 and the USA at least 3-1. This is a race between education and catastrophe.
