THE GEORGE PATTON AWARD FOR MILITARY LEADERSHIP
"Men, this stuff some sources sling around about America wanting to stay out of the war and not wanting to fight is a lot of baloney! Americans love to fight, traditionally. All real Americans love the sting and clash of battle. America loves a winner. America will not tolerate a loser. Americans despise a coward; Americans play to win. That's why America has never lost and never will lose a war..."
--George S. Patton
Lt. Gen. James N. Mattis, an infantry officer who has commanded Marines in both Afghanistan and Iraq made the mistake of publicly revealing why he is a great battlefield leader. He acknowledged the exhilirating truth that fighting and killing savage Jihadis who hate us is pleasurable. Oh, the horror! Horsefeathers says give that man a medal. Instead he has been provided "counseling"--the shock to liberal utopian therapeutic sensibilities was too great. What's next, long term therapy at the Barbara Boxer reeducation camp?
"..According to an audio recording of Mattis' remarks, he said, "Actually, it's a lot of fun to fight. You know, it's a hell of a hoot. ... It's fun to shoot some people. I'll be right upfront with you, I like brawling."
He added, "You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for five years because they didn't wear a veil," Mattis continued. "You know, guys like that ain't got no manhood left anyway. So it's a hell of a lot of fun to shoot them."
