"Neville Chamberlain was a good man," said Winston Churchill, "he just trusted very bad ones," like Nancy Pelosi is doing now. I'm rereading Churchill's 6 volume set about the 2nd World War and the decade that preceded it. Volume 1 is a mirror image of what is happening right now. England and France could have stopped Germany in '34 or 35 easily. They could have stopped Germany with a few casualties in 36 or 37 but by 1938 and 1939 it was a different story. 100 million people perished because of Neville Chamberlain and his government and England just about lost the war. If we don't take care of the Islamic Fascist now while they are weak, we'll remember Ms. Pelosi just like we remember Chamberlain; a trusting fool.

Comparing Pelosi to Chamberlain is unfair to Chamberlain. Despite his foreign-policy naivete, Chamberlain did build up Britain's armed forces: a lot of the Spitfires and Hurricanes that were to save Britain were built under his administration. Chamberlain was also the man who signed the declaration of war after the Nazi invasion of Poland.
Pelosi is not in the same league.

I don't know why you have to insult fine artists by connecting them with the spoiled daughter of an old-time city boss. Bob Dylan wrote the "forever young" tag on a song to his new-born child, along with such wishes as "may you grow up to be righteous, may you grow up to be true"; and by "forever young" he meant young in the mind - the last thing that Ms.Pelosi time-warped brain can be said to be. As for the Beatles, remember "Revolution"? "But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao you ain't gonna make it with anyone, anyhow!" That was written when it took some guts to express sentiments like that.
